GLASGOW will host a working party at the Peugeot Ashfield Stadium this Sunday as they continue their preparations for the new season.
Volunteers are being asked to help with a variety of tasks, including painting, jet washing and cleaning at various pounds around the venue.
It comes following work to widen the track ahead of the first fixture against Edinburgh on Friday March 23.
Club general manager Ian Beattie said: “With a large amount of work done to the track so far, we’re looking to put the finishing touches to the stadium itself to get us ready for the off.
“This has been a big investment by the club to reshape the circuit, so we’d really appreciate a helping hand from volunteers to get us looking at our best before we launch our bid for the Championship title.
“With the snow disappearing, we should be able to power through a load of tasks needing done around the stadium.
“As always we’ll look after anyone who comes along with hot drinks and a snack. It will also give you a first glimpse at what we’ve done to the track over the last few months – and believe me when I say it’s been worth the effort.”
Look out for more information about the working party on the club’s social media outlets.
