THE line-up for the SGB Championship Riders’ Individual at Glasgow has been revealed – with one of the strongest fields for any meeting ever held at the Peugeot Ashfield Stadium.
Home favourites Richard Lawson and Richie Worrall will lead the Tigers’ charge against 14 other stars from every team in the league.
Edinburgh should bring a good travelling support to back Sam Masters and Ricky Wells, while Berwick are represented by the in-form ex-Tiger Nick Morris.
Former Monarch Craig Cook, a potential Grand Prix rider next year, will represent Workington and start among the favourites to take the title – while Josh Grajczonek of Sheffield, another past Glasgow rider, will also be hotly-tipped given his 15-point maximum at Ashfield on Saturday.
The 2016 British Champion Danny King and his Ipswich team-mate Rory Schlein, former Grand Prix star Chris Harris and Aussie wonderkid Jack Holder add to a thrilling bill.
And completing the line-up are 2016 Glasgow rider Ben Barker, Scunthorpe’s Lewis Kerr, the exciting Jason Garrity, Steve Worrall – twin of Tiger Richie – and Kyle Howarth, who was also impressive on his last Ashfield outing.
The meeting takes place on Sunday, September 24 with a 3pm start.
