Season almost over as Panthers get their claws out

GLASGOW’S season is over from a competitive point of view after they were put out the KO Cup by Peterborough at the semi-final stage.

The Panthers won 95-85 on aggregate, with the scoreline 45-45 on the night.

It was a disappointing outcome given the visitors were without No 1 Jack Holder, young talent Bradley Wilson-Dean and reserve Tom Bacon.

But the home team didn’t get enough heat victories and that proved costly in the end.

The Tigers still have a rearranged league fixture against Workington to race to round off the year.
