GLASGOW’S new supporter initiative continues to perform well – with hundreds of new supporters coming through the gates in recent weeks.
After more than 800 new faces turned out to see the hard-fought win over Ipswich a couple of weeks ago, in excess of 700 were present for the victory against Sheffield the following week – with another good crowd on Saturday against Peterborough.
The club would like to thank all fans who have helped to promote the sport by making use of the initiative, and there are plenty more chances to get involved as the scheme will continue until the end of the season.
Supporters should be aware that the vouchers will not be valid for the match against Edinburgh on August 12. The decision has been taken as the stadium will likely be busy due to the proximity of the clubs, and we want fans to be as comfortable as possible and have as good a view as possible when watching the action.
However, we will shortly be announcing details of a special addition to that evening’s events which will hopefully add to the normal attendance. Further details will be revealed shortly.
New fan vouchers are available to collect from the Den Diner each day, and can be used by anyone who hasn’t been to a meeting in the last 12 months – as long as they are ‘sponsored’ by an existing fan.
The person who brings the most new people along before the end of the season will win a trip to a European Grand Prix of their choice next year.
