Tigers co-owner Gerry Facenna has urged Tigers fans to “back the boys” both home and away for the match tomorrow night against Edinburgh and then the following week at home against Workington.
The Glasgow side head to Armadale tomorrow evening to take on the Monarchs in the rescheduled second leg of the Scottish Cup and Gerry is keen to gain the first silverware of the season.
He said: “Tomorrow’s match has been a long time coming but we are all desperate to go there and get the result.”
“We arranged with Edinburgh at the start of the season that each club would keep ticket sales for the away support and we have put a free bus on to try and encourage as many fans as possible to travel through and support the team”.
“The fans have been incredible this season and supported us no matter what, let’s back the boys and show that we have the best traveling support in speedway!”
Gerry Facenna added that he is hoping that the Tigers can progress through to the play-off final next week when they face off against Workington Comets.
“This season, with the new track settling we have seen some fantastic action and particularly in the last few matches the team is really starting to find the racing lines.”
“The team deserve success after the way they have fought in the last couple of months, we looked down and out at one point against Ipswich but the boys have showed a great attitude and determination to reach the play-offs.”
“The result at home against Edinburgh was particularly pleasing and we are more determined than ever to try and go all the way”.
